Adult Congenital Heart Disease Scholarship - First Cohort Awardee

  • November 2, 2022

The ACHD Scholarship was created by Drs. Renee Bullock-Palmer and Katia Bravo-Jaimes with the goal to increase exposure to ACHD among motivated Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiology fellows in training (FIT) with no access to ACHD rotations to embark on ACHD rotations at high-volume centers.

Thanks to the support of Women as One Mentor-Mentee Match Award, Heart University, Drs. Jonathan Windram and Seiji Ito, 3 FITs were identified as the 2022 ACHD scholarship recipients: Erica Otero, Pavida Pachariyanon and Emily Sanders. They were able to complete a rotation at Boston Children’s Hospital, University of California, Los Angeles and Mayo Clinic, respectively.

Please check their profiles below and if you are interested in this initiative send an email to achd.scholarship@gmail.com Let’s continue sparking the fire in ACHD!
